Photography and photo editing go hand-in-hand, but it is not necessary for the photographer to edit the picture. There is much more that goes into providing a final product to the customer than just taking the pictures and providing the prints. Preparation is key to a successful photo shoot, and the same holds true for editing. It is important for us to take the time with you to learn exactly what you want and understand the expectations. For those submitting digital prints via e-mail and original prints via postal service, we will still schedule time with you to discuss exactly what is to be done.
Upon completion of your project and after you have the finished product in front of you, we will again take the time to discuss the results with you. If further refinements are needed, they will be addressed at that time. The aim is to have you totally satisfied.
Photo Editing and Restoration
At Picture This Image we welcome your existing pictures, negatives, or slides for editing or restoring.
Most families, individuals and even business’s have photographs that would look a bit nicer if slightly modified, or in the case of old photos, digitally restored.
With editing, Picture This Image can remove unwanted persons you don’t know from an otherwise wonderful picture of a child playing in a park. Facial blemishes can be removed, complexions can look smoother. If desired, background colors can be changed, or dark pictures can be made brighter and richer in color. Color photos can be turned to black and white.

Photo albums, books, collages
If you have a bunch of photo's that are just sitting in a drawer, allow us the opportunity to create standard photo albums, a collage of pictures on one print, or to create a photo book. Together, your desires and our skills will turn that drawer full of pictures into a display you will be proud of.
Some ideas to consider:- Create an album or book of a vacation, party, or other event
- Create a framed collage of your family
- A picture of your house beautifully matted and framed
- Pictures of that special car you own set in a collage of angles and views of interior and exterior
- For a family reunion, create a collage or book of old pictures.
Then after the reunion, add pictures of that event.
Photography
Photography is offered on a limited basis in the Charlotte NC area only. Most events, and activities can be accommodated, however we specialize in natural and casual settings as opposed to studio shots. Please ask for details.
Have you considered having some ‘still life’ photography done? Maybe a picture of an antique you own, an award, or a child’s favorite stuffed animal. This not just your average snapshot; we can photograph that item and make it look like it belongs on a magazine cover. Save it, frame it or use it to post on the internet for sale. Specific needs of on-line sale sites can be accomodated for product photography.
